Richard Huntley
Richard Huntley is a New York City based percussionist who plays a wide variety of music including jazz, brazilian, afro-cuban, klezmer and other styles. He has recorded and/or performed with many great musicians including Marvin Hamlisch, Frank London, Natalie Merchant, and Mulgrew Miller. He is currently performing nationally and internationally with the blues/jazz/Americana band Hazmat Modine.
As a member of The Civilians, Richard is thrilled to contribute to This Beautiful City. Recent theatre performances include a solo percussion score of Macbeth at the Two River Theatre Company in Red Bank, NJ and Herringbone at the McCarter Theatre inPrinceton.
He has also performed at the Williamstown Theatre Festival four seasons in a row. Richard is on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College division.
